This site is the home of tools developed to assist crews in selecting their itinerary choices for a Philmont Trek.  The tools included here are just that — tools!  Crews should use them as part of their selection process. This process works best if the entire crew is involved.

Two steps are recommended in preparing for your trek. These are the Itinerary Selection Process and the preparation of a crew Duty Roster.

These tools were initially developed in the 1990’s as a “quick and dirty” aid to helping a crew select it’s itinerary and having a workable duty roster.
